Summary: fun for a minute
Comment: this game is really fun for a while then it gets repetitive. the music is a fun beat. the game IS extreme compared to the original version. the enemies come in different colors and sizes. and if you kill a chain of the same color you get a super weapon depending on the color you killed. fun game but wait till it gets to $10 range. if it ever becomes a $10 digital download then it's a must buy.

Comment: I liked space invaders back in the day, but it does get rather repetitive after a while. Well this new version solves that problem. Yes, you still go back and forth on the bottom of the screen shooting at aliens, but now there are power ups, special weapons, lots of different aliens, boss battles, new attack formations, and even new powers for the aliens themselves. The colors are vibrant, and the game is strangely addicting. The constantly flashing back round might be problematic for anyone who is epileptic though, and I found no way to turn it off. That aside, this is a great retro game made new again.

Summary: Oh My God, its the Invaders =)
Comment: Its one of those games that when you die you say "well let me play just one more game" and before you know it its time to get up and go to work.
Its not an "emulator", they actually re-made it, with colorful backgrounds, cool sound effects, and killer addiction.
Its simple and easy to pick up and play, perfect for casual gamers who just want to shoot aliens for a while. I love the upgrades of the weapons they did for the PSP, its VERY colorful, so your eyes might hurt if you play for too long. Its also very fast passed, so you will always be on your toes (or thumbs in this case).
Lots of fun, and everyone in your family can enjoy it.
A must have for "old school" lovers.
