Summary: Camera Panning Made Me Sick Feeling
Comment: I know this really is a great game since so many people have said they enjoy playing it so much. I can tell that it would be tons of fun but after trying several times to hopefully adjust to it I simply can't. The reason I give it only 2 stars is so that my review won't be overlooked.
If you have any problems with motion sickness then I would advise looking for another game. The camera panning back and forth and all around while trying to navigate a SIM's house or neighborhood sent me running to the bathroom a couple of times. I though if I kept trying I would eventually get used to it but no such luck.
The graphics are good, and the characters are adorable. I can really see the appeal of this game. That's why I gave that part 4 stars. Overall I think it's a great game - but just for those that can handle the back and forth and all around up and down and spin around stuff that you have to do to play the game. The whole concept of the game and all the different variables of outcomes is fantastic. So, it is with great sadness that I must return the game to Amazon as I can't safely play it and I can spend the money on something else. Darn my brain!!!

Summary: BEWARE THIS SOFTWARE
Comment: I loved this game until I found out it was the reason my computer is now having issues. During installation it installs a hidden program called SecuROM (a bad excuse for copy-protection) which will cause numerous conflicts in your computer. My antivirus software now randomly shuts off and I've had numerous other issues.
I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER ELECTRONIC ARTS GAME FOR MY COMPUTER!

Summary: A great game for adults
Comment: This was a good purchase. After a week of play I am so hooked. This game has so much more depth than the original Sims. As a middle-aged adult, I had been losing interest in a lot of offerings in Video games. It's hard to get a good game for PC anymore with the Console market drawing all the cash. The added expansion packs in the deal made it sweeter. I can't find enough time to spend with this game. My only complaints are trivial and related to some options in the game.
I wouldn't want my children to play this game. Some optional relationships in the game do not match up with my Christian beliefs. I am old enough and experienced enough to know my orientation but I don't want my kids to have options "I" don't want them to have until they are old enough to make decisions on their own responsibility. I don't expect or require anyone to agree with my opinion or comments.
That said, it's a great game. Buy it.

Comment: This product is great for so many reasons! It provides unlimited hours of fun and you will never get tired of it. You can create your family and then build your life on the choices that you make for your Sims. You can buy or make their house and decorate it with the thousands of design options and decor. Your Sim children can go to school and even impress the professors enough to get into a private school. The aldult Sims can get a jab, write novels, take care of children, or sit at home all day if you want them to. You can make them do what YOU want. You will never get bored while playing this game. Once you get the hang of how to do things in the game you will feel like an experienced player. Although you can learn how to play this game to its fullest in less than an hour. I play this game often and will continue to. I hope that you buy this game as it is well designed and easy to navigate. I strongly reccomend this product.
